FCN Foundations Courses
Faith Community Nursing Foundations Courses are offered throughout the state of Indiana. These courses offer flexibility through traditional classroom settings as well as online learning. Course formats also vary and may include weekend or weekly classes, retreat settings, and independent learning.

Community Health Network
Central Indiana, in-person on September 17, October 1 & October 22, 2022. Cost $150 per student, Community Health Network employed or retired nurses may attend at no charge. Franciscan Health employed or retired nurses scholarships available. Contact Lisa Fleetwood at lfleetwood@ecommunity.com.
Marian University
Central Indiana, This course is offered in a hybrid format, with two in-person retreats, and online instruction and discussions. The learning modules will include mini-lectures, discussions, readings, reflections, scriptures, prayer, case studies, and other learning activities. The in-person retreats will be held on Monday, June 27th and Monday, August 8th 10 am to 3 pm on the Marian University Indianapolis Campus. Cost is $500.00 plus textbook. Application and payment are due by June 20, 2022.

In-person starting June 2022 (will use Zoom if needed) at Wea Ridge Baptist Church, 1051 E. 430 S., Lafayette, IN . Registration due by May 25, 2022. Cost $325 per student but scholarships are available. Contact Sue Buchannan at sursxb@aol.com, 765-477-6150 for more information.
University of Southern Indiana
Virtual Course, This course is offered via the online learning management system Blackboard. Students view pre-recorded instructor videos that are reinforced by articles, web resources and case studies. The next course starts September 12 and runs through October 21. Cost $500.

This Foundations of Faith Community Nursing course is based on the curriculum developed through the Westberg Institute for Faith Community Nursing, which curriculum is owned by Spiritual Care Association 505 8th Ave., Suite 900, New York, NY 10018.

- Be a Registered Nurse with a current nursing license
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience
